-The National Notary Association was founded in order to educate and serve the nation’s 4.8 million Notaries. The National Notary Association is a constantly updated system of networking resources for notary publics with hundreds of thousands of members.

-The National Notary Association does not just provide notary services for individuals who are already notaries. There are 4.5 million licensed notaries public in the United States, with that number growing on a daily basis. The National Notary Association supplies information about every step of the process of becoming a notary public. The organization provides information on notary public training courses, educational information, local notaries public, and notary public testing information. Since one must become certified to be a notary public, part of the notary services offered by the National Notary Association consist of providing information on certification testing dates and locations. Some centers offer notary public certification testing on a weekly basis while others offer the test on select dates. The test is first-come, first-served; there is no making a reservation to take the test.
